Workshop on Critical thinking and problem-solving under the theme "Facts vs Opinion vs Misinformation" especially relevant in the social media age and the current context was organized by InSIDE-North East for the young minds. Hejang Misao, Director, led an interactive session on navigating social media responsibly as it has become a powerful tool for connection, learning, and sharing information. He stressed on the Hidden-Risks and their impact, the rapid spread of misinformation and misleading content that has led to serious consequences, influencing opinions, behaviors, and decision-making in harmful ways. In this context, it is essential to nurture the ability of young minds to think critically, act sensibly, and respond responsibly. without these skills, they may easily fall prey to unhealthy influences and false narratives. Therefore, encouraging awareness, open dialogue, help them make informed choices and become responsible digital citizens.
